Absolutely loved red bud cabin, only negatives are mattress's are way too hard, no dressers or shelving to put your clothes in an there are hookups for washer and dryer but theres none here so if you are staying for a week plan to have a ton of laundry to do when you get home. Owners are wonderful sweet people though. Will definitely be coming back again

We really enjoy these cabins. Been here 3 times all in the winter. Always clean and cozy and we always manage to find something to do. This has become an annual trip. Cell service is spotty, make sure you have an unlimited data plan. We will be back!! Good ideal to have battery powered or kerosene lanterns, we had an ice storm and lost power, but Patty who runs the place for the owners was very helpful, she brought us extra water, wood and coffee...much appreciated.

I've stayed here many times. They do a great job of making sure the cabins are really clean. It's a great location with plenty of hiking options around. One thing I would suggest is if you are planning to cook there, make sure that you bring whatever you need, including seasoning... Not a big deal at all (and not that they should provide), but there are no spices, oil, etc. I have stayed in the Hemlock Haven cabin several times, but after walking around the property, I am looking forward to trying out a few other cabins on future visits! Great place and highly recommended!

Top hill's website has a calendar that shows which cabins are available. It is very easy to use.
No, it was not a different name. 20 years ago, it was only Top Hill Cabins and then when we purchased the business, we changed it a little to Cook Forest Top Hill Cabins. No Moon was ever in the name.
Yes, our one bedroom cabin, Sugar Pine Cottage with a Jacuzzi tub is available for the dates you request, October 12 and 13, 2019. We do have a 2 night minimum.
Yes for dogs no bath but they have showers n 2bedrooms!! Perfect hidden get away!!
Hello Anna: We do have 1 cabin with a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. There is also a shower. The Jacuzzi is for one person at a time. The cabin is Sugar Pine Cottage and occupancy is for 2 persons. It is like a suite with all in one huge L shaped room. The kitchen is at the front of the cabin. The bedroom and living room are combined with the wood burning fireplace at the living room end. Sugar Pine has all the amenities that our other cabins have -- dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, toaster, coffee pot, microwave, regular sized stove and regular sized refrigerator with a freezer on top. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room as well as a satellite tv. Outside, you will find a back porch with porch furniture, a gazebo with a swing, firepit, picnic table and charcoal grill. Our cabins are all pet friendly. Pets are an additional $15 per night plus tax for each pet. Max 2 pets per cabin. As you mentioned, not left alone in cabin and also leashed when outside. Pick up after pet as you would at home.

The week day rates range from $165 per night up to $205 per night. The 7 night rate ranges from $985 per 7 nights up to $1185 per 7 nights. All rates are based on 4 persons and if you bring more than 4 persons, there is an additional $15/night/person charge for those over the base 4 persons. All rates are plus 9% hotel tax. Off Season is Nov 1 to Apr 30 every year. The rates depend on the cabin and number of persons. The weekend rates range from $170 per night up to $210 per night. The week day rates range from $145 per night up to $185 per night. The 7 night rate ranges from $850 per 7 nights up to $1050 per 7 nights. All rates are based on 4 persons and if you bring more than 4 persons, there is an additional $15/night/person charge for those over the base 4 persons. All rates are plus 9% hotel tax.

Cathy: We are 3 miles from the Clarion River where they have tubing, canoeing and kayaking and fishing. We are 1 mile from Tom's Run, a popular picnic and hiking spot. Our Cabins are located on Forest Road which is off the beaten track and does not get the auto/truck traffic associated with Route 36. Our cabins are located in a very quiet area adjacent to Cook Forest State Park.
