The stream
The spring fed stream is less than knee deep. Good for wading and cooling off. I have swam in The Sheyenne River, but not in that area. It has muddy banks and a rather swift current in most places. I would not recommend swimming the Sheyenne unless you are a good swimmer and don't mind the muddy banks.
