For all my years of skiing, Elk opens when they get a sustainable base of snow on the ground. So unfortunately openings in the past have varied upon the amount of natural and or man made snow. We start checking the web site mid December for updates. See you on the slopes!
Depending on weather they are shooting to open either the first or second week of December
