Its a good mountain but i consider it more difficult then other mountains in nearby Poconos. Elk as most mountains do have beginner slopes, i reccommend pulling up trail maps on a few mountains and seeing which one fits you best! All trail maps are availible by google search then click image tab
Yes can't beat it. We sell alot of lessons here at Elk.
It is a bit fast overall. Even the green. There is a bunny slope and then a bit of a jump on speed to the next level. Beginners will need to be able to control their speed. It's a beautiful place.
