Yes they are skiing
On 12/30/17, they had 19 of 27 trails and 6 of 7 lifts open.
Conditions are great and just about all the trails are open. Get out and ski! The 2018 ski season is going to be wonderful!
They only make it as needed. It is very expensive. And a storm is on the way. Enjoy!
They have a deep enough base right now and almost all trails are open
It may all depend on how much snow they get from the sky. If enough falls, why spend money and energy and water.
