Smaller RVs can camp in the more remote areas but do not expect any utilites and have a plan in vase your battery dies.
Check the forest service website. This listing is in regards to 450 miles of U.S. Forest. Their website is really good.
There are many RV spots in different locations
The PNF campgrounds we've been to can take RVs but they did not have hookups. This includes Mingus Mt., Potato Patch and Lynx Lake. They have fire rings and vault toilets. Some may have been updated since. Don't count on hookups.
