Some spaces were 1st come but others were by reservation on Recreation.gov. you can call 877 444 6777 to also get resv. Cell service isn't the best.
I was there for two nights. Really liked it and would stay again. Make sure you take cash...and the exact amount. I had to scrounge up nickels, dimes and quarters because they didn't have change for a $20 dollar bill!
It is $5.00/day, but senior America the Beautiful pass gives half off that, so I pay $2.50.
