Is there a such thing as discount on tickets for proof of residents on a regular day not just free day?

Off of the website: "Special Offers Chicago Residents Residents who live within Chicago city limits can save $5 or more on the price of their ticket."

Used to be free on wed or thurs, not sure the policy now

Yes you may get as a resident and also get offer when purchasing city pass, may see 7 places in less amount.
