They should at least acknowledge the customer and let them know the facility is closed. Just courtesy.
We have had 2 similar experiences, but normally they are good and semi quick. Our drive thru order is always correct.
Its fast food and young people working... Kind of expectable. Usually whatever is the right amount of employees to work, they then subtract that by 1-2.
Turn off lights if closed
I’d complain to corporate. I had a very similar experience at Peabody, MA location about 5-6 weeks ago. Course was a nor’easter that day but service AND food was horrible. They were out of everything. Note (I worked at Wendy’s as a kid and there’s quite a few I’ve been to that should be shut down yeah it was that bad ).
Unfortunately there was probably no management on shift at the time. My guess guess is the staff already started cleaning prior to the 1am close time. Most likely they had everything shut down as well and just decided to play possum with anyone that drove up to the window. You were probably not the only person this happen to this night and possibly and most likely more nights. No offense to anyone in the industry who actual do care and have pride but the staff this night probably just wanted to collect a paycheck with doing the least amount of work as possible. My guess as i said before, this probably happens often here. Hope I didnt offend anyone in the industry but i most likely hit the nail on the head.
They are usually there until 01:00 but one day a few weeks ago I went and they said that they were not open during normal hours.
