I liked to take my dog out there and never really had a problem. She likes to swim. But SBPD didn't like that and yelled at me from their intercom. So i don't go there anymore. If you're looking to just walk your dog on a short leash, it's good. But forget playing fetch or swimming.

Any time you have an animal in public it needs to be controlled. Almost all parks are let friendly but dogs love to run and chase. They will tear up nest of geese and other wildlife and chase them. Never ok anywhere. Also people need to pick up any droppings of the dogs. It is a public place. Kids run around there as well.
Absolutely. But as mentioned before it does have a big population of geese.
It is pet friendly, as long you aren't concerned about the geese
