Yes. Like most places, their cafeteria food is overpriced, but you can bring a small cooler with food. Or, if you don't want to carry it around, you can always leave it in your car, then go get it and eat out by the riverfront, then go back in the Aquarium.
Yes, we brought a cooler with sandwiches, chips and bottles of water. They had an eating area with tables to eat at. They also sell good in there too so you have options.
