Worst DMV I have experienced. I went for the initial permit they asked me to show address proof with my name and I94, H4visa copy, passport and SSN. I showed all the documents and even bank statements for the proof with my name she rejected me and asked to book for the next appointment.she asked me like more than 3 address proofs. It was very bad experience. I was really disappointed with the Camden DMV.

The bouncer at the door would not let me in without my social security card (NOT REQUIRED!). She proceeded to lecture me about the appointment reminder they had sent and the documents required. If she would have shut up for 1 second she may have learned that a current W2 is acceptable. IT IS EVEN ON THE LIST THAT SHE HIGHLIGHTED FOR ME! It is so frustrating when public servants don’t know their job! Is it any wonder why everyone hates the DMV..

While the staff were nice, they need to learn more about what documentation suffices for a name change. Turned away today because I had my original “marriage certificate” and not a “marriage license”. Waited for hours on hold for dmv just for them to tell me my documentation was completely acceptable. What a waste of my morning. Please train the staff better.

What is the point of making an appointment if you only have to stand in line for another hour after your actual appointment time? And then because you write the date wrong, like not your birthday or your address, but today's date and you correct it if you write over it they make you fill out another card and get back in line despite you having all your materials that you need to go to the next step and just so they can check to make sure you wrote the date correctly? And they wonder why people cut them out!
