You can fish from the shore, but its not the same as surf fishing. So, no its not.
It is better at the beach
Yes you can...but surf fishing might be easier once the tide has come in. There is a long stretch of shallow beach about 30 -40 ft before the water starts to get deep farther out
We fished off the dock at the marina in early May, water was cold caught a lot of perch, saw lots of bass boats...
