We used to see the river otters, but not in the past 7 years or so. They'd swim early mornings or later afternoon/ evenings around the point of Long Point to Sweet Potato Creek in the cove or to Morgan Creek nearby, but I've not seen them anymore.
Jack and Pat retired and their son now owns Long Point Marina. Not sure about observing River otters - I've never seen any in the area.
