The waterfall on Regent Lane (Bork's) has a short but fairly steep, narrow, and rocky trail, down to the waterfall shelter. It could be dangerous after sunset, and I imagine the access trail itself would be hard to locate in the dark, if you haven't been there before. If you are confident with wilderness trails, and have a good light source, you should be fine. The main waterfall at Ferne Clyffe State Park (Big Rocky Hollow Trail), has a well maintained, entirely flat and wide trail that would be safe after dark, as long as you stay on the main trail. In wet weather, however, there are two small creeks that can run over this trail, so a flashlight and extra care would be recommended. Again, this area can also be quite dangerous if you do not stay on the trail or attempt to rock climb, etc. even in the daytime. I mention both places, because there is some ambiguity as to which location is the "Ferne Clyffe Waterfall" on Google Maps.
I would agree with the other answers. Grant has provided some great and accurate info.
Yes, just be careful on the drive down there, lots of holes in the road! Awesome place though
