They can give you a disk minutes after they finish. Most local physicians can access the images directly and don't need the disk but if your doctor is out of town you can take with you. My experience has been that the radiologist report takes a few days.
You can get a CD/DVD to take with you for MRI. I assume they can also have a radiologist on site to review and send to your doctor to review. Ultrasound will be read by a radiologist on site and results sent to your doctor.
