As an employee and a host of Cracker Barrel most people think you can “reserve” if you call but we just write down your name and the number of your party and when you get to the restaurant we put your name on the list and try and find tables to accommodate your party. Most people that have called before have the impression that if you call that is a reservation but it is not it’s just a heads up for the hostess/host and serves

According to their website its first come first serve. If you have a large group they recommend calling first and they will try to accommodate you.
You can most definitely make reservations, regardless i would call to find out.
