I bought a small hosta late in the season last year. You said to keep it in the pot and winter it in the garage, watering occasionally. OK, now what? Do I bring it in the house and start watering it, keeping it in a sunny window until it sprouts?

Actually, you just need to let Mother Nature wake up your hosta. You can move it outdoors if you would to, just keep an eye on the temps once the plant starts to leaf out. If it calls for frost overnight move it back in.

Si central you kept it Indoors you can bring it into the house. Dont water it to much when you do. Wait until you see the pop starts to come up. Also still your fingers in and around the pot to check and see if the plant survived.
