No! The DNR now patrols state parks and they're ticketing without a warning first, FYI. I took my family and our 13 year old collie mix there for the first time ever and someone, instead of just telling us directly, called the DNR because we were walking our dog on the trail. Our dog was on a leash, we were picking up after her during the hike, she stayed on the trail, and everyone was petting her along the way. Warden McCormick and Warden Chernak came out and instead of a warning they gave us a $162 ticket. They said "every year several people get bit by dogs in this park", though on the main sign there's no picture saying no dogs but in tiny letters next to the statute numbers it says "no pets allowed" and there is only one 3" x 3" sign 1/8th of a mile in that was blocked by people on the way in. So a big f you to the fellow hiker(s) and a big sarcastic thanks for the warning and understanding to the wardens. If dogs are such a problem there then add more signage at the entrance!

Did you mean to say, dog? Dogs aren't allowed in Parfrey's Glen. It's a delicate area for certain plants.
