You will likely never see this, but movie theaters only take a marginal amount of the ticket price for themselves. The rest goes back to the studios, who can dictate how much theaters can charge for prices as they increase the amount of money theaters have to spend to screen their movies. This is why theaters charge an arm and a leg in concessions; it's where any significant profit comes from. Place blame on studios making the theater experience so absurdly expensive.

Depends on what time you went and if you saw 3D movie but they have great offers on Tuesday all day night $5 a ticket any movie half-off on popcorn any size I think that's pretty great myself don't you agree?
