Sugar & Spice is a wonderful old style diner with a rich history here in Spartanburg. The food is only matched by the great service. If you like diners, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Food was edible but not much flavor. Our pie was half frozen. I thought from the pretty awning that the inside would be themed but it was very boring, needs an update. The man who took our order seemed done with everything and wasn’t very friendly. I wouldn’t go back.

I haven't been but 2 times but can tell you I ordered Roast beef sandwich the first time, it was great the second time a chef salad to go. It was so large I ate on it all day. Service was good and the help was very friendly.Will definitely will go back.

I cannot remember my first visit to the Sugar N Spice, perhaps it was fifty years ago, give or take a year or two. Stepping through the door is like crossing the threshold to a past reality, a great many memories of good times past. While the place is thoroughly modern and clean, it is tastefully nostalgic. The food is just like it has always been, very good, and consistently so. Chili Cheese with mustard and onions, fries; and hot fudge cake, like nothing else, anywhere. The souvlaki is tender and spiced just so, and the baklava is a great finish. Or try anything with grilled chicken, its awesome.
