If you like you can go to alltrails.com to find out locations details and a lot more about trails. For Elk River Falls you can call it a hike. What I would call it is a short stroll. But to answer your question it's only 0.3 of a mile out and back. With an elevation gain of 42 ft. The spot is open 24 hours and people have swam here but also be careful there have been deaths here too. Other than that enjoy your adventure to the falls. I hope this reply was helpful to you have a good day.
One hundred fifty yards
I agree that it's not much of a hike. You can go to the top part of the falls and to the bottom. Fair warning, the trail is a bit tricky. Watch your steps and be sure to stay on the trail. There's nothing to provide safety and keep you from falling. For a beautiful walk with beautiful falls and a safer path, I highly recommend The Cascades in E.B. Jeffress park which is I believe about 40 miles away but so well worth it.
I don't exactly know in distance. I can say its not that far. Not really much of a hike and the trail isn't that hatd either. Its well worth the walk
To get to the bar of the falls, it's a bit further than that. Steps in some areas.
Wouldn't even really call it a hike. More like an inclined stroll.
Just what Bill said.🙂 Beautiful and fun place to go!
