This past weekend it rained, (they provide free ponchos)so there was a wait for the 2-3 sets of 2 closed in lifts, which I would recommend if you have a three year old, as I do, but the wait was not bad, no more than 1/2 an hour. The open traditional lifts were available immediately. There are many beautiful views of Gatlinburg from many different mountain overlooks, phone number phone can give you the experience like anakeesta. They also have zip lines and rail carts...love that place.
No you can only get there by lift chairs or closed cabin. If it's cold or raining do not go. It was miserable for me, raining cold weather, only 3 little shops.
What are the spring/summer hours
Great question Eddie. At the moment the Chondola is the only guest access to Anakeesta. However, stay in touch at www.anakeesta.com as we will be revealing a new mode of transportation to access the park in 2019 that I think you will love! - Michele
No you have to take the lift
No you take either an open or enclosed ski left. Beautiful ride up.
