I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! if you have never been to Anakeesta put it on your bucket list! It was such an amazing experience. You ride a chondola 600 ft. Up into the mountains which takes about 10-12 minutes. However, the views are incredible. Once you get up the mountain you are then dropped off at the park. They have a variety of food, shopping centers, rides, beautiful views, rope bridges to explore and so much more! My family and I were able to spot two bears. 🐻 We had a great time and we will definitely be making the trip again.

This is my second time, both time we really enjoyed the amazing scenery, our daughter 4 and 6 loved the place, it has so many things for kids to do, tree houses, tree canopy, bridges towers. The restaurants are all very good and the shops has very neat things. You can easily spend all day here. We went the first week of December and seen the Christmas lights the hang

What a cool place! Such beautiful views of the city and of the mountains, we got some incredible pictures. There are fun things for the kids to do as well as the grown ups. And SO CLEAN! I saw one of the employees actually sanitizing a trash can - no joke. Would go again and recommend to anyone.

No rides. A restaurant/bar. A bakery. A garden and play ground for kids. It also has a BBQ spot for real home bbq. You can look out and see the beautiful mountains and you can watch other folks zipline. It was nice but very very cold up their. A matter of 7 degrees difference. That's when we went this past weekend.

Can you walk to anakeesta?

Eddie Gifford | Aug 2, 2019
Kimberly Hutchison | Aug 3, 2019

This past weekend it rained, (they provide free ponchos)so there was a wait for the 2-3 sets of 2 closed in lifts, which I would recommend if you have a three year old, as I do, but the wait was not bad, no more than 1/2 an hour. The open traditional lifts were available immediately. There are many beautiful views of Gatlinburg from many different mountain overlooks, phone number phone can give you the experience like anakeesta. They also have zip lines and rail carts...love that place.

I don't walk very well. Can I take a scooter on the enclosed lift.

Glynn Reynolds | Aug 2, 2018
Dorian Cowan | Aug 3, 2018

Probably if it's a small scooter and if you ask a staff member first before paying. There's a back road that leads to the village. They might be able to take your scooter up that way while you ride the lift up. Have fun!
