Technically on the waterway at the inlet between Ocean Isle and Holden beach. You can see the ocean across the waterway on the other side of the island. Very pretty! However, you would have to drive over to the island to sit on the wide big beach. The campground has its own little beach by the waterway. Nice to sit and watch the boat traffic.
Waterway, well kind of both depending on your camper spot.
It's on the intercoastal water way, but not far from the ocean.
Sea mist is on the intracoastal waterway that opens into the ocean. The ocean can be seen from the campground but can only be reached by watercraft.
No not on the ocean but has a nice intercoastal beach. About a 5 mile drive to Ocean Isle.
