I'm about to head to pier fish is it worth going and is their anything bitting or wait another day

It may be too cool and too early in the season right now. You can also call the pier house and ask them what they've seen today.

As soon as it warms up some ,should catch some blowfish & mullet & maybe a few small spot

Call the pier house. 90% of the fish are in 10% of the water

Dogfish maybe on some cut bait. Not much yet.
