When we reopened in June after the big COVID-19 shutdown in New Mexico, we had health care workers coming in to dine with us and commenting that our COVID protocols were stricter and more well-thought out than the hospital in town. We temperature check guests at entry and inquire about symptoms, we follow all spacing protocols mandated by the government (tables six feet apart and all outside at this time), we thoroughly sanitize all tables and chairs in between guests, staff sanitize hands between each guest interaction, staff is temp checked prior to coming to work, everyone is mandated to where a mask apart from when eating or drinking at their table, etc. We have yet (fingers crossed) to have a case cross our doors and are happy to report we take this very seriously.
I agree that Boxcar took safety first! One thing I enjoyed was being able to scan the menu on your phone to reduce paper contact. Everyone wore a mask when walking to and from the tables as well! Good Job 👍
