I’ve been a server before at multiple restaurants, so I understand the reality of a serving job. Our experience was horrible here in Santa Fe. The hosts were very unprofessional as soon as we walked in. Laughed after I told them my name and continued their personal conversations. After being sat, we waited for 15 minutes before being helped. Jasmine, our server, didn’t apologize for the wait and didn’t start by asking what we wanted to drink; she went straight to asking what we wanted to eat. I could go on… But, as we were leaving, the host was sitting down in the waiting area on her phone. That was the cherry on top… This place needs new staff and 100% new management. I would give zero stars if I could.

The food was great, service was even better. Not sure if all the wait staff is like this, or if we just got the best server.... But never once had to ask for anything! Before we even knew we needed a refill, it was at the table waiting on us! And although the restaurant was busy being a Friday night, we didn't wait long at all for our food to come out. 😊

My son and daughter in law took me to olive Garden here in Santa Fe NM and I ordered my usual. I like that they let you create your own pasta meal, but they never offer it with Salmon. They only offer chicken and steak with alfredo, so I ended up order a very expensive piece of salmon on the side and always with roasted garlic. Well this trip--I asked for roasted garlic, and was sent roasted tomatoes. When I asked the waiter about it, he said they didn't have roasted garlic, and the chef sent the roasted tomatoes. So I sent the tomatoes back and asked the waiter to please get the garlic. I don't like this meal with out roasted garlic. I said they usually at send the garlic that comes in a jar. The waiter returned and said the chef sent a message that he doesn't have garlic of any kind, and they don't use garlic any more. I asked, "What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't use garlic!? I then sent the meal back and ordered something that didn't require garlic I've never had a bad experience at Olive Garden until that visit. BRING BACK THE GARLIC OLIVE GARDEN of Santa Fe!!!

Upon arrival we were greeted by a young girl, we waited about five minutes to be seated. Jordan was bartending but took our orders. He was attentive, polite and made sure we had everything we needed at our table(even hot water to warm up my sons bottle) The food was ready in no time, they ran out of bread and he communicated it was going to be around seven minutes. We finished eating before the bread was ready but we didn't bother to ask, we were fine with it. After dinner we ordered the Italian donuts that were extremely covered in sugar, we had to scrape it to be able to eat it. Customer service and interaction were great. Jordan did apologize for the inconvenience but it wasn't a big deal for us. Overall, the service, food, environment and interaction take the five starts review.
