I spent 1½ hours with my family, feeding the animals in the front (we bought to much thinking they had a lot of animals, but they are fat and not many of them) These are rescue animals, many have been abused and are blind. You need to be quite around the big cats and bears. The day I went the majority of the monkeys, lemurs and deer were with the vet. Just be aware this is not a regular zoo, it is a pretty place for these animals to be coming from their former homes. The Sanctuary runs on donations (your entry fee) so visit enjoy. I hope to return again this summer, my niece really enjoyed herself (10).
I never timed it, but probably an hour at the least (to still allow pauses to enjoy animals) and then up to as long as you wish (2-3 hours). Animals are more active in morning and later in the day so more action to enjoy. They are benches to sit and contemplate with the big cats and other animals. Truly a local gem and treasure.
It's mostly up to u
