I'm so glad that the owner stands her ground and has the well-being of the animals as her main priority. Thank you for making sure they have a peaceful life as that's what a sanctuary is for! People who don't know how to read signs and/or know how to parent their children properly so they could behave in a civil manner should consider another type of a family activity not involving recovering animals. Also, the fact that someone has "given" a sanctuary an animal isn't a valid argument to come in and torment the animals/not follow the guidelines in place.

Seeing comments from people who obviously struggle with entitlement is actually so disgusting. A place of business or in this case a place that caters to the protection and safety of these animals they are housing has every right to run it the way they need to. Clear signs were posted, and the mother and child had been nicely warned multiple times to not antagonize the wolves but continued to do so. Children must be taught that there are repercussions to their actions and parents need to learn that they are the ones responsible to reprimand their children. Just as it was the owners responsibility to protect her animals which in this case she did. If your child cannot behave than these places are not for them.

I am glad that these animals are in a safe environment. You can tell they care very deeply for these animals as there are many signs warning you not to taunt and to be gentle. Though I recommend visiting on a cool day, the day I went was rather hot, so most of the animals were hiding in the shade. It was a bit of a bummer since I really wanted to pet the ponies. But their comfort is more important than me wanting to pet them. Rocket was my favorite animal. Though I did really love Daisy and Dancer. They have a blind house cat there too. He's so adorable and I hope he knows that I love him too. If I were to suggest anything to Noah's Lost Ark, it would be that they should get some more horse souvenirs. I love have loved a keychain with a picture of Rocket on it!

Awesome experience. I've never been so close to big cats, emus, wolves, and all the other animals they have. Kids loved it, I loved the kids interacting with, feeding, and appreciating the rescue animals. I'm not religious but there's a special place in humanity for these people.

Adult - $10.00, ages 2-17 - $7.00, age 1 and under - free. Crackers and carrots available for feeding, $2.00.
Not real sure call them
You will have to look up thier number and call them I have nothing to do with it
Its mostly grass and gravel, it would be hard to navigate a wheelchair
I spent 1½ hours with my family, feeding the animals in the front (we bought to much thinking they had a lot of animals, but they are fat and not many of them) These are rescue animals, many have been abused and are blind. You need to be quite around the big cats and bears. The day I went the majority of the monkeys, lemurs and deer were with the vet. Just be aware this is not a regular zoo, it is a pretty place for these animals to be coming from their former homes. The Sanctuary runs on donations (your entry fee) so visit enjoy. I hope to return again this summer, my niece really enjoyed herself (10).
It costs money to go in as well as buying feed. Well worth it!
