Generally yes. Avoid during fall and winter. In summer, check the Oregon beach monitoring website for any water quality advisories, as sometimes it’s got elevated bacteria during summertime.

Yes, just be careful for washed up jelly fish, rare but has happened. Great place for the kids

Yes, it's a nice little cove. There were people kyaking and paddle boarding when we were there. I'm not sure where you're from but the Oregon coast ocean water is always cold. So be prepared.

I wouldn't go in just because of the weather when we were there it was very windy also it seem to me it wou.ld be very rocky surface. But whatever you do get the advice from the available Park Rangers so be safe in making your decision
