Always be prepared with chains! Should be enough snow as long as the rain holds out but it is supposed to be a warm week. My hot tip is to check the "Trip Check Road Cams" online here closer to the day cuz they have cameras set up down 35 and 26 which kind of let you see the snow level near the road. It's primarily for traffic but it can be useful to see road conditions as well as snow level!
I was there on a weekend a few weeks ago and the parking lot was pretty full. Now that there's more snow, I wonder if more people will be going. Hard to say. I was there about 5 days ago and didn't need chains. Roads and parking lots were clear. But I think it snowed since then so take Andrea's advice and check out the road cams.
I was just there yesterday with my kids sledding. There is a huge base of snow so I don't think you have to worry about that. What might be an issue though is if it does warm up or rain there it might make the snow hard.... kinda bumpy for the kids going down. There wasn't a lot of smooth lines going down the hills but there were some. You just have to walk around and pick a good spot.
