They treat a LOT of people horribly in the ER, including me. No compassion, they were rude, crude and indifferent. Patient Relations department is a joke. Call and find out who is in charge of the ER. Mail a letter directly to that person and ask them to call you. I agree you should complain to higher ups. I wrote a letter and hand delivered it to Good Shepherd ER. Lo and behold the nursing manager called me back! Emails are more easily ignored than a paper letter.

Rick your complaint it valid and you are by far not the only one. seek out a patient advocate, write the vp go as far to the top as possible. I would never degrade your feelings of neglect by calling you a spoiled boy. Thats the attitude the hospital treats their patients with. We dont need other patients being vicious towards eachother.
