Yes there was a two screen theater in the mall located where shoe carnival used to be operated by General Cinemas. It was built in 1967 as a single screen theater and converted to two screens in 1972. They closed in 1989. Great memories there while working at Woolworth's (remember them? 😀)
No never ever. I've lived here over 30 years. Theaters r a thing of the past in my opinion. Too many big screen t.v.'s n streaming. We will still continue to have some, who doesn't want to see Jurassic park on the big screen???
