The deepest part is between the fountain and the little point with the bench on it. Best guess is it's between 20 & 30 feet- depending on when it last rained. This is a good spot to both bottom and topwater fish for cats, which are stocked monthly this time of year. Most range between 2-4 pounds, although there are a few river fishermen that "stock" a couple big fish in here. Last summer I watched an older gentleman land a 26 pound blue cat on a crappie jig right before dusk between the bank and the island. It was insane! In the winter months they stock the lake with rainbow trout. Swimming is not permitted in this lake.
