Planning to come August 9th. Curious how early we need to arrive for parking and how crowded it gets on the weekend? Is there a lot of jellyfish in the water?

I would get there between 8 & 9. That way you'll be able to get a spot under the pier. This allows for social distancing while having a personal section for your family. Parking is tight but there are plenty of spaces. I was there two weeks ago and didn't see any jellyfish. If you want jellyfish, go to Ocean View lol

Arrive as early as possible, suggest 8am. Parking is more congested this year. Or wait until late afternoon after the crowds leave.

Agreed around 8 or 9am. We just where there in the beginning of july and didn't see an Jellyfish. Also another good time to go is around 6 and stay until it closes at 830pm.
