Why is the service so bad, the staff has no idea what they are doing or what they should be doing. Though the food is good it is not worth putting up with bad Service. At their prices the servers should know what they are serving. Will not be back!

Don't go there expecting fast food. It is a dining experience. The food is excellent.... worth the wait.

We went there for my wife's birthday and both the food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend you call and speak to Carmen about your experience.

Sorry about your experience... I've been eating there for years, never had a bad experience,.. genuine old country Top of the line authentic Italian quisine... Some times there maybe a brief wait, but it's more than well worth it... give it a chance, don't deny yourself an evening of a rare experience.

I have never had bad service there. Must have been some kind of glitch or a new server. This is a dining experience and the food is worth waiting for. Ask for the owner Carmen or his wife and speak with them because they insist on great service.

You must have gotten a new server. Give them another shot and ask to speak with Carmen. Super awesome owner who really cares. I've only been there once and our service was excellent. Really, he's the chef too.

Carmen is a old school owner chef and everything is made to order from scratch. If you're in a hurry then go to McDonald's, if you want excellent Italian food made from scratch then Carmen's is the place for you. I've been going there since it opened and it's always been great!!

It is not that the servers or service is bad. This place prides itself on making "every meal to order". As a result, you can literally BANK on waiting at least one hour from the time you place your order, to food arriving on your table. I have been here about 3 times and not one occasion have I been able to be in and out the door in under 2.5 hours. The management does not do a great job of managing this situation, and quite frankly, this model of "we make everything to order" might have flown in the '70s, but in today's world, customers want to be in and out a heck of a lot sooner than this place is able to deliver. If this restaurant was properly managed, they would know that turning tables faster would also put more money in their pocket.The food quality is also not commensurate with the duration they force customers to wait.

I have been there many times over the past five years and have never had an issue with the service or especially the menu. Everything is delicious and we have always enjoyed our meal. I would tell anyone to give it another try and I'm sure they will be happy they did.

We DID speak to Carmen. He offered us one free tiramisu to share as his way of apologizing. Not going back.
