It's pretty rocky, so not ideal, but there's a boat ramp that would work fine as a launch point.
Yes, though very few people paddle board out there. Most people are either on the pier or a boat. Do so at your own risk, but personally as someone who catches sharks and other marine life with teeth I personally wouldn't take the risk. To each their own though!
