You have to be an old south Tampa insider to know about this decade+ old cozy, delicious cafe and catering spot with cooking by the lovely British Sally and her competent team. Wonderful Coronation Chicken, Ploughman's Salad with crusty baguettes, hot and cold soups, an astonishing blackboard full of other great sandwiches, salads and daily hot specials (sublime Cottage Pie, or Bangers and Mash). Run into everyone you know, whether at breakfast or lunch or popping in to take out one of the full dinners on offer that day. It's one of those one-offs that make Tampa great.

The food here is fresh, delicious, and the staff are super friendly. They also offer amazing dinners to go, and various hard to find British candies and delectable. Definitely a hidden gem in S. Tampa

Delicious from start to finish. No pictures of desert, it was too good to stop eating. Best sticky toffee pudding this side of the pond!

I love all things United Kingdom and this was loveliest place. A hidden gem in the Tampa Bay Area. The owners and staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The food was simple and superb! Their breads are so fresh. It was that home-cooked feeling from across the Atlantic. Would recommend 10/10.

Hello my name is James Nichols, my wife and I own "Cooks". We adhere to public policy but we do not condone opening fully. We disinfect each table and continue to use disposable plates, cutlery and cups. Our staff are all instructed to hand sanitize and wear masks. We have online ordering and will deliver to curbside. I cannot imagine there is anything else we could do to address the dreadful pandemic the world is experiencing. It is our belief and policy that we protect both our customers and staff. Therefore we have implemented all guidelines + to remain safe. We are simply a small business with low margins that simply believes in humanity over profit. Our business relies on "our community" . We need to respect and support each other to survive. James
