I found SO many businesses respond faster via social media these days. Also, it is a busy little place. Probably in need of more volunteers. Hope this helps.
Leave a message, they will respond. I left a voicemail outside of their business hours, about an injured bird, they responded within 20 minutes, not to me, but to the bird. Someone was sent to the beach to save the bird. This place is run by caring individuals who are dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured birds. If you show up, you will neet the kindest people. They're very busy and there's only one person who answers the phones and is in the gift shop. All proceeds go to the food and care of the birds, and there's hundreds of birds. Go check it out, they're open til 5pm.
If not an emergency you can also send them an email which I have done several times.
Exactly what Lisa said. It's a bird rescue with a few workers and volunteers. Leave a voicemail.
Facebook message them is usually quicker. Sometimes there is only a couple volunteers so therw is no one around the ohone
Ues especially if I recognize the number
They are a nonprofit, and I agree they may be short on volunteers to man the phones. There is a lot of good information on their website, if you need times they are open and when they have demonstrations. Parking is free, so is admission. I recommend stopping by. This is a sanctuary that does not receive government money. I fear that if no one has hands free to answer the phone everyone is helping with a bird's medical emergency.
Why are you calling them?
