As " Lesa" said, understand, but the pain meds have sadly been abused by too many bad doctor's, 1st, 2nd patients. They cannot just give you a partial fill till you get in. It's sadly the abuse, not the doctor, she's doing it legally !
I have been seeing her for a many years , never had not one promble ! Dr.W .C has many satisfied patient with a full schedule you may have tried to schedule a new patient appoinment before your meds got so low. I will give her five stars the best i know and she take time and care with her patient as well.Hope you feel better
1st, let me say I understand your frustration & how you're feeling right now, it's a scary thought running out of meds that help you function in life not to mention the withdraw from the meds. So take a deep breathe & know you will get through this. 2nd, I don't know the circumstances behind your situation but from what I know about Dr. Chouteau & her staff it's not that she won't see you, she probably CAN'T see you because she is the only dr. & her staff can only book you when she has something available. She's a very caring dr so call them back this morning & ask to either see her nurse practitioner & to be put on a waiting list for cancellations. 3rd, you have to be on top of your treatment, get on a routine where your appointment is made way in advance so you don't end up in this situation again. Remember, she's only 1 person, it's her & her nurse practitioner & they are very busy. I wld advise you not to go anywhere else to get refills. Stretch out what u have left.Good luck.
