I have been seeing Dr. Atkins for almost 3 years and although I love working with him I am looking at new providers due to communication issues. For two weeks I have been trying to get a prescription refill and a referral. I call and leave a message with the call center many times. I missed one call from a nurse by seconds and left another message with the call center and never got a call back. In fact she was leaving me a message as I was calling the call center. At my lab appointment I told the front desk and they called the nurse and she said she would send my prescription over and talk to Dr. Atkins about the referral but my prescription was never sent over and I have not heard from the Doctor. The office blames the communication issues on the call center and the call center blames the issue on the office. I am so tired of being glued to my phone hoping for a phone call because I know if I miss it I won't hear back from them again.
