Why cant you get somone to answer the phone during business hours at best buy?

The phones are answered through the returns desk. So if that department is busy it will take a while. You can always chat online the questions are answered much faster.

The one in columbus is the same way. Maybe that wasn't taught in the orientation.

During peek hours they're extremely busy at the service desk. I've seen it personally, it's better to go in an employee will ask you if you need help within 5 minutes of being in there.

Customer service leaves much to be desired. Why have a box store if you can only get phone customer service from whatever state that answers globally.

They use a phone system to help direct calls. It can often help but certainly isn't perfect.
