Unfortunately a phone with liquid damage is typically beyond repair as corrosion builds on the logic board causing parts of the phone not to work. Once corrosion starts other parts and functions of the phone will start to fail as well. I would recommend taking the phone directly to Apple to see if they have any recommendations.
Water damage and electronics do not date well. Best course of action is to leave it someplace warm and leave the Sim card tray out. Let it suck up the moisture
