No it's because they need to hire more people that actually like to work. Everytime I go down there I watch them just sit there and let their phone ring and ring while they are joking around with their coworkers. That's Montgomery County for you.
It's because they have such a high volume of calls and you'll be lucky to get a hold of them today you're better off putting it on speaker phone and listening for them to answer. I put my phone on speaker phone at 3 and at 5 I got a phone call and they told me someone would call me back in 48 hours and it's already been passed that it's been over 72 hours so good luck
No high call volume u can call as soon as they open still on hold for hours .and when u get thought waiting the wanna hang up ..everyone there nees to be replaced
This job center has been a big help with the many layoffs I have experienced. They keep a positive attitude and genuienly try to help. No doubt we are all highly distressed and stressed. Ive had severe mental health issues from my last layoff and its a comfort to go to the Jobs Center. Speaker phone and a comfortable chair are the only way to deal with a call. They do their best on the phone. Tough job.
Do what I do. Leave a voicemail. They won't return your call but it's less aggravating than sitting on hold not talking to them.
