Do they allow the animals to be handles by anyone who'd like to handle them? Also, would a 16 year old interested in bones and likes animals like this place?

I'm really not sure what they do there, I just empty the dumpster on Fridays.

Hi! Our staff will guide guests through an animal encounter, instructing you how best to pet or hold each creature. While not every one of our animals are "showmen," most of our critters enjoy human interaction and welcome the experience. Examples of our interactive animals include bearded dragons, rabbits, hissing cockroaches, and small snakes. Part of your experience here will include a hands-on informative talk about how fossils form and why they're important to us. During this time, we will pass around mineral crystals, real fossils, and fossil replicas alike, which your 16-year-old should enjoy!
