This is deceptive. Saying it's a "science" museum is a lie. It's a creationist museum. It's anti-science. Having a Christian museum teaching their ideas on dinosaurs, geology, animals, it's fine, they're free to talk about whatever they believe...but make that clear especially if taking $ from people for admission. It's false advertising. It's just as weird as if someone called their place a "church" and then "preached" studies on evolution on Sunday morning instead of the Bible. It's offensive to pretend to be one thing and then be something else inside. Save your $ and time, there's an actual natural science museum in Cleveland.

Loved every moment at the Akron fossil and Science center. We showed up less than an hour before close and they let us do a self tour for half price. The exhibits were unique and the playground was everything you could dream of. Friendly staff and patrons made this an unforgettable experience

This museum does not have electric carts.
2 hours is about right But you could spend a whole day there if you pack a lunch and really want to examine everything in detail. It's nice in that way....
No escalator, but the whole place is wheel chair friendly. We had a stroller and had no issues
I'm really not sure what they do there, I just empty the dumpster on Fridays.
Yes. $10/person. $40 for a family with 2 adults and any children

The "Creation Education Museum" within the Akron Fossils & Science Center contains displays that compare the theory of evolution with theories of intelligent design. Guided tours present the tenets of Darwinian evolution, while also presenting creationist arguments that question aspects of traditional evolutionary theory. The founder's position is that "microevolution," the process of natural selection and genetic adaptation within species, is an observable, valid scientific process that can be reconciled with creationism. "Macroevolution," on the other hand, the theories about the origin of species and major evolutionary change, are not scientifically observable and are derived primarily from a particular perspective on the fossil record. Creationism posits a different perspective on the fossil record that focuses on catastrophic sedimentation processes. The founder's perspective, presented in the Creation Education Museum, is that macroevolution is not scientifically tenable.
I was there for a birthday party, for about 10 kids and 3 activities it was $150.
