I need to make an appointment to renew my license but I am seeing in pictures a lot of people waiting in long lines (July-Oct 2020). Is that still the case even with appointments?

If u have a appointment u don't have to wait in line.

When I was at mvc in August, there was no line outside the building by 11am because they had given out all tickets for the day. But they still let people with appointments in. So I would make an appointment for late morning or afternoon to avoid lines.
