Their are actual good fathers out there that may be in a situation to where they can’t pay like maybe losing their job! So you take their transportation away and license to try too get back on track?? That’s not right. Not everyone is a dead beat so y’all watch your mouths

I don't think they take your license after one missed payment.... You must be pretty behind.

Child support is a joke I'm overpaid by like $2, 000 because Ohio doesn't know how to communicate with another state. I had custody for a year and another state still had me on current support then took half my taxes because Ohio never communicated to them that I had custody when I took Ohio the custody paperwork . Ohio just tells the oh you have to go after the mother and if she doesn't pay you'll have a credit with us if she ever goes back to her mom .

Never would have happened if you kept on your payments. Make 3 consecutive payments and they'll reinstate.

I'm a mother who pays child support and lost my license. I got remarried and when my husband and I had our second child (my third) I had to take time off before giving birth, and clearly after. Two months into being behind (after 9 years of on time payments) my license was suspended.

Idk maybe catch the bus?

Crystal Radtka | Nov 7, 2019

Because that's how they force you to pay. Usually that's all you can do if your a 1099.

I understand all this... But what I don't understand is how I do five and a half years in prison. Only getting paid $18 a month. And I am still charged 285 a month like I have a regular job. The reason I was given was, because I put myself in there. Really!! If you're basing my support off my income I was only making $18 a month, base it off of that. Now I'm over $20,000 in back child support because I did five and a half years in prison!! WOW!!
