Not wise thing to do
Pour it into a Mason jar and let it sit uncovered for 3 days. Add lemon or grapefruit juice to kill any remaining bacteria. Boiling it would be your first option.
I was there a few days ago and saw a woman with jugs collecting it. After all, it is a natural spring, it isn't coming from the Chattahoochee. I was surprised but my whole party tried some and it tasted great. Nice and cold. So I collected some and shared it with a friend without telling her where it came from. She said it tasted fresh. But you must consider that people were playing in and around the area so maybe collect it further up the stream. And boil it. lol
Never tried there s a point where the water runs down and over a rock system. If you are to try and collect some that will be your best shot
It may be fresh, can't take no chance getting sick. Its best you bring your own water.
I wouldn't recommend it but there may be a water fountain at the head of the trail.
I wouldn't drink the water unless you had no choice and a way to boil it. They do not have water fountains here that i can recall
Doesnt look to promising. Muddy and covered in leaves.
